All my fics are now moved...
Jun. 15th, 2012 12:00 pmKinda feeling bittersweet about the whole thing. I really like how AO3 is put together and how many features there are for authors, but ff.net is where this whole writing thing started for me and now that I have 0 fics there and a very short profile paragraph, it just kinda hurts a little. Nothing shows up in the traffic stats, I've had fans messaging me the past 2 days asking where to find their favs...
It's all for the best, I just wish I hadn't wasted my time posting all that stuff over there in the first place :(

I feel your pain! It's a lot of work to move everything to another site.

Date: June 29th, 2012 02:00 pm (UTC)It's all really frustrating, and maybe in time I'll put some of my fics back up over there at ff.net, like the T rated ones but right now I am totally done with them. It's easier for me to post them to AO3 or straight to my LJ fic acct.

Date: July 11th, 2012 06:23 am (UTC)Ah, the kiddies... Yes, the underaged accessing 'adult' content issue; it's part of my beef with deviantART, but that's another story. Like you said, I'm sure they find ways around the age restrictions, although aff boots them off if they find out they're minors. Like you, I'm posting my adult fic mostly to LJ and AO3, and am no longer considering posting anything of any rating on ffn. Maybe if I stopped writing smut I could post more there... Nah. Never gonna happen! LOL!
ffn can play their games, we just don't have to participate!
