sonjajade: (Fuck Yeah!)

So I've got this mega list on the fridge of things I want to get done around the house.  The first major undertaking was cleaning just about everything in my kitchen.  With the exception of needing to organize like 3 cabinets and clear off/out the washer and dryer area, I'm totally done in there.  I have counter space!  I have a table top! I have an empty sink and dishwasher!  So exciting!  Next room on my list is the living room, but for today I'm so done.  I can barely move after running around all day, taking baby stuff to once upon a child to sell (had to stand in line for a fucking hour and they only took like 1/8th of the shit I brought in, and only paid me $10...) and then taking some stuff to goodwill (clothes OUAC didn't buy and then some glasses I cleared out of the cabinet and stuff).  So I need to pretty much clean the shit out of the living room, which means dusting and vacuuming (I need to sprinkle that pet fresh stuff down to ease the DOG smell in here @__@), and I need to see if I can figure out why the recliner on one end of the sofa doesn't work...  After that I'll be in mostly good shape.  Definitely need to fix my damn closet (the bar fell down and my drawers in there are all overflowing!)

So yeah!  Spring Cleaning!  I'm also trying to limit my time on the computer and actually spend time with my son rather than turn the TV and let him watch educational kids stuff all day.  aaaaand eventually I want to paint the living room and my bedroom.  That's another reason I'm trying to get all kinds of shit done.

I'm starting to feel a little better as far as this weird heartbeat goes...  I'm now on Lopressor and a water pill.  It seems like the flutters are not as intense as they were, and ironically enough when I'm busy cleaning or doing something physical they go away completely.  Completely finished one of my slash fest fics, now if I could get inspired to finish my other two...  I might work on Ling/Al tonight.  I thought of a good angle in the shower this morning.

And let me just get this off my chest a second.  I have a friend on my facebook who is 7 months pregnant.  She's been whining and bitching about how fat she is and how she can't move and how she's needed to pee every ten minutes since she was 8 weeks along (I'm sure an embryo lying on your bladder is just SOOO heavy against your bladder...).  It's just really on my nerves because I will admit to being a psychosomatic person most times.  But when I was pregnant, I had no problems at all from my stand point.  If a doctor hadn't told me I had gestational diabetes and was at risk for preeclampsia, I would've never known.  I was moving furniture and painting at 6 months and by 7 months I was putting furniture together.  And I weighed almost 400 pounds.  This chick is probably 220 at the most.  All she's done on facebook every day is whine about how fat she is and how she can't do anything but sit and eat and watch tv.....  I want to slap her.  You know what I couldn't do?  Drive my van.  My seat wouldn't slide back far enough so I had to trade my husband for his car for a while.  That was the only thing I couldn't do.  In a mean way, I hope she doesn't drop her baby weight XD  /rant

indeed. I know I complain a lot too (I have a master's degree in it! XD) but I mean every day for 7 months now... bitch and moan. I have to keep reminding myself this is the same girl who looked up after her husband left her and said, "But I'm Mrs. 'M. R.' I don't know how to be anyone else!" and was then put on a 72 hour hold in a psych ward at the hospital. Poor thing.
