So I posted some wallpapers the other day.  Well, the one I made for myself, the Sano one with the giant zanpatou, was kinda... sucky.  I was trying to recreate the kenshin one in green and somehow I ended up with somethign I didn't like, even though I tried to live with it for a few days.

Well, I closed my eyes and though about what I wanted to see, and I made it happen.  Took a lot of reworking, but I am much more pleased with this version than that 1st novice version.  Given my skills I am ashamed of that first one.

HERE it is, in all is 1700x 1083 pixel glory.  Even made it so Sano's looking at you and smirking, like "I'm comin' for you next, punk!"  Or, if you're a pervert like me, you can think of it as his rape face.  I have a weapon kink anyway, so I'll be sitting in panty puddles all day long now XD

On a more professional note, I finally got to sit down with my friend and discuss the ins and out of our new business.  This morning I got our logo drawn up and our email address going.  I'm not sure when I'll be able to start, I have to talk to Cliff to see about HIM getting HIS work schedule stabllized before I can just jump in.  I'm actually looking forward to doing it and getting back out in the work force.  And it'll be cash in hand work which is even better for me.  Wanna see the logo?   I made it so big so that when it's shrunk down for business cards and stuff it's not blurry or anything.  SO EXCITED!!

Oh, that wallpaper is nice! If I way recommend something, maybe have Sano blend in more with the background by doing some smudging of him? Pretty much what I do is I would have two layers of the same render, the first layer I smudge a lot while the second layer I smudge mostly just the edges. There are a lot of tutorials online over smudging and having a render blend in the background. Hope this makes sense!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE that logo! It's very cute. :D

GAHHH!!! That sounds awesome! But I dunno how to do that!

Is there a particular place you get your tutorials from? I'm pretty good for having never been taught anything, but I'd love to be better. TEACH MEEEEEE!

maybe sometime we could get on yahoo messenger or something like that and you can walk me through it. Like is there a smudge tool? Or do I just use the healing brush to blend the edges?? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Haha, I'm not too great teaching others when it comes to graphics since I'm still learning smudging myself. ^^; I get my graphic tutorials from a Pokemon forum and here are two smudging tutorials form one of the users there.

Not sure which version of Photoshop you're using, but there should be a smudge tool in there. also, you can try the healing brush to blend the edges if you prefer that. Maybe try both the smudge tool and the healing brush tool and see which you like better.

Alright, I'm doing something wrong...

I have taken the info from both tutorials and put them into use. But what I'm doing looks NOTHING like the examples. I can use those pen settings for any brush tip which is useful and cool!! But at the same time I never did get my pen tips to look like the examples even by setting the numbers to the same factors. ARGGH.

Still though, this is very useful information, I just have to figure out how to apply it.

WAIT!!!!

I figured it out! WOOT!!!

(though I think it would better for things like explosings or action shots, Sano's not really doing anything to warrant this... course I'm prolly doing it wrong XD)
