Everyone's got their preferences. As for me personally, the first anime is the reason I'm in the fandom. Oh well, as long as we can all agree that FMA is awesome, regardless of the canon. :D
None. Manga is the winner. :P I love Brotherhood, but some of the stuff left out bothered me and I really don't have a high opinion of first anime saved for a few things.
haha, everyone's gonna have to duke it out I guess! I actually like the manga the best- so I guess it's brotherhood for me. though I saw on tumblr this guy made an argument that went like 'what if Truth wasn't happy with how the first series ended and he decided to make everyone do it over, which is why the opening song to brotherhood is 'Again'. That makes both series canon! Now we can stop fighting!' I kinda like that way of putting it.
haha that IS a good way to put it and yes I do like the manga the best. I still think it's one of the best stories out there but hey, everyone likes something different and that's just fine
