sonjajadeSaturday was a great day: I worked my shift, but we were so busy that the time flew by, then I came home and had delicious pizza for lunch, then my mom, Joey's godmother and me got to go to our favorite store ever sans Joey. However, once we got on the road, we figured out that the stupid city has the ramps to the Kennedy bridge on I65 all kinds of fucked up, so instead of driving 15 minutes to the most awesome Goodwill store in existence we drove almost 30 because we got rerouted to the New Albany bridge, which is off I 64 (I think it's called the Sherman Minton bridge... it was closed for 3 months while they fixed the structural damages) Anyway, we finally get to Goodwill, I find tons and tons of CLOTHES for my fat ass, as well as something for everyone at home who couldn't come with us, and then on the way home, we decided to actually drive through New Albany instead of jumping on the expressway.
I'm doing the speed limit, I'm not texting while driving or anything like that, and I see this cop car and I even slowed down a little further. Next thing I know this cop is on my ass and lights flashing and sirens wailing, and I thought he was trying to chase someone, and I was in the fast lane, so I was scrambling to move over. Turns out he was PULLING ME OVER. Hot dude, too bad he's a douche cop. So he comes over and I asked why I was being pulled over, and he said real condescending, "You're not wearing your seat belt, miss." And I'm like, Officer, sir? I weigh over 350 pounds, my seat belt does not fit me. I can't wear it. He writes me a ticket anyway and tells me I can go to my doctor and get something called a 'chit' (?) that says I can't wear my seat belt for whatever reason, that way when I get pulled over in the future I won't get a ticket. As it stands right now I owe the city of New Albany $25, however I'll be going to court in September to contest the decision.
I was almost to the bridge to come back to Kentucky, and this ass has to pull me over just because he's a dick trying to make his end of the month pull over quota. No matter, I got over $200 worth of clothes for only $30, can't no one take that pleasure away from me!
Today, hubs, Joey and me all went to Cave Hill Cemetery and fed the ducks and geese (I had a bunch of bread that I had to get rid of...) What I wasn't expecting to do was feed the fish! It was so cool! At one point there was a school of what had to be at least 50 bluegill, and they were like RIGHT THERE!! There little fishy mouths were just gobbling up those bread crumbs! Joey had a great time too. He wanted to walk all over the place, and I would have let him if it hadn't been so freakin hot out. We will just have to come back in the fall when it's cooler. I think this next paycheck I'm gonna purchase my AoiUma con registration 8D COME ON SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!!!! I still need to make some final adjustments to Madame's coat, but nothing major. I'm so freakin excited. I bought a pin that I'm going to decoupage to make it say "Mustang for Führer!" And I'm gonna get a picture with every Roy I see XD
