Miscellany and Musings

My first altar ever in my house, I'm so excited!  Samhain is right around the corner and I really wanted to participate with Joey and the rest of the family.  So I just decided to go on and finally do it.  I don't have all the pictures of my loved ones on the other side out yet, but I'm also waiting to see if Cliff will give me pics too.

Joey LOVES school.  Today he rode the bus for the first time, rode it both ways and life was so much easier for it.  He's having a great time and really likes his teacher and has made some new friends already.  Apparently he's not the only Joey in the class and they are both buddies.

I might have the job opportunity of a lifetime lined up.  I really hope I get that second interview...  it will be a game changer.  Instead of making minimum wage I'll make over $12 an hour,40 hrs a week, plus full benefits after 30 days and a raise (omg!) after 90.  1-10 pm is the only drawback, but no weekends or holidays.  It would be doing collection calls for a company that represents different local hospitals and medical clients.  I could finally get out of retail!  Maybe my foot would finally heal.

For now though, I need to go to bed- school and then work after Joey leaves.
