I used to have a friend who worked phone sex, and she had a couple of clients who would call in to have someone yell and swear at them. This is like food porn for someone who's into that.
Well, there was a place in town, and she just went in and applied. It didn't pay particularly well, but they pretty much just required a decent speaking voice, a high tolerance for weirdness and showing up regularly-ish. They all were assigned names and personas by the woman who ran the place, and no one was supposed to use real names to each other, which was interesting to me.
