But I'm feeling a little bad about sending Edo off to be neutered.  He didn't even have a chance to use his tiny little raisinettes before they were being clipped off.  And what hurt me the worst was when I left, I could see what room they'd taken him to and they got started right away (good thing because I was #3 in line and there were people lined up out the door).  But I did feel good about rounding my bill up and donating a few extra bucks to them.  It's called SNIP Clinic (Spay, Neuter and Immunize Pets) and it's sponsored by the humane society.

Poor Edo.  Imagine Santa coming down the chimney with a pair of pruning shears and a pain shot XD

..actually I think I might like to be sterilized for the holidays.  I don't want any more kids so bring it on!!!

Tino had to get snipped to be adopted and it was not traumatic for him AT ALL. I wish his former owners had done it sooner as his poor little coinpurse never went back to unstretched and NOW we have to get something DONE to it as it has benign tumors and looks NOT FUN at all to sit on.

He doesn't miss his nuts one bit. He was just happy to have a forever home.

I'm sure Edo won't miss them either, I just worry that he will pull his stitches or something, or that he will be in pain when he comes home.

He'll stay overnight at the clinic, then tomorrow he'll go to my mom's to spend the night and most of the next day, then come home. He should be in much less pain by then. I worry that my other 3 dogs will play with him too roughly at first, which is why he's not coming straight home.

I set up my airmattress and moved my bed onto the floor of the living room so we could start bonding RIGHT away. Tino KNEW he was in his forever home. He was so cute and quiet. (He was solo pet in a one person adult home... we were pretty chill back then.)

Now that his self-esteem is MUCH higher he is a cute HOLY terror, just like Tiny in W.I.P.
