30 day FMA meme that I'm doing in 1 day

Day 1- How were you exposed to the phenomenon that is Fullmetal Alchemist? I caught it on Adult Swim one night, around the same time I discovered InuYasha. These two shows were the beginning of my otaku days/fanfiction career.
Day 2- What was the first episode you saw of the series? What were your thoughts then? I don't remember what episode it was, I know it was first series. Something about a little boy? Now until FMA, I had only seen anime that was on Saturday morning lineups, which meant a whole lot of mecha crap or DBZ. I thought 'Wow this is so emotional and dramatic, like a real show.' I ended up dropping the series, not because I wasn't interested, but rather the opposite. I wanted to start it from the beginning and waited (and forgot!) until I found it online somewhere, long after I was an established InuYasha fan.
Day 3- Your favorite character? It is SO HARD to pick just one character!! I love Ed, Al, Roy, Riza... I have a special place in my heart for Havoc because he reminds me of my favorite InuYasha character: Miroku. I love the Xingese faction, the Briggs guys... I think that's the mark of an excellent series when even among the villains and heroes it's hard to pick just one favorite. The list of characters I can't stand is shorter, with Sloth (2010), Yoki and Rebacca Catalina.
Day 4- Did you read the manga? What did you think? I read the manga like a fiend when I was pregnant. I loved it.
Day 5- Who's scarier? Izumi or Hawkeye? Why? Izumi, because she can hurt you with her hands. Hawkeye needs a gun.
Day 6- Your favorite Homunculus? Greed, 2.0 even more
Day 7- Did you see Conqueror of Shambala? Your thoughts? I did see it, and because I'm not a fan of the first series, I didn't like it. I thought the plot was ridiculous and I actually couldn't finish it all in one sitting because I thought it sucked so hard.
Day 8- Your favorite antagonist? KIMBLEE! He's logical in how he hates, and it's hard to not agree with his mind set once he explains why he feels that way.
Day 9- Your thoughts on the first anime? DUMB. Some of the episodes were good, but once you got Dante into the mix and when Sloth showed up as Trisha reincarnated, I was very disappointed. The animation and art style was better, but the plot was a train wreck, and I HATED the ending. I have only watched it once and refuse to watch it again.
Day 10- Barry the Chopper: love him or hate him? LOVE Barry!!
Day 11- Your favorite fight? Greeling vs. Wrath in the Führer's mansion. Action packed and well animated
Day 12- Your all-time favorite line(s)? Roy: Well, I can see how she tricked you so easy. You've always been a sucker for big boobs. Havoc: I can't help it! I love 'em!!
Day 13- Would you ever take the risk and do human transmutation? No. First of all, I don't see how Ed and Al came to the conclusion they should, other than the fact they were children at the time. It goes against the laws of equivalent exchange. In order for a person to be born, another life must pass on. That's the way of the world.
Day 14- Which artistic style did you prefer? The first anime or the manga/Brotherhood? First anime. But Brotherhood is easier to shoop which is good for me XD
Day 15- Your favorite animal/chimera character? My favorite Chimaera is Heinkel. My favorite animal is Xiao Mei.
Day 16- Do you have a favorite episode and/or manga chapter? Why? Favorite episode that I have seen I dunno how many times is Backs in the Distance, I think it's ep 24 in Brotherhood.. It's when Ed and Al are fighting Scar and Winry finds out Scar killed her parents and she tries to shoot him. It's such a painful moment for her, but pivotal in seeing that depth of her character. As much as she wales on Ed with that wrench, she could never kill him, and even though she has a hair trigger temper, and certainly the desire to do it, she couldn't kill Scar either.
Day 17- Do you have a favorite ship or crack pairing? Fav. pairing is hard to choose too because I like just about the whole damn cast! My own pairings that are not so popular are Braeda/Madame Christmas and Havoc/Sciezka.
Day 18- Your thoughts on Brotherhood? PERFECTION. As a whole, it is perfect. Granted the art could've been better, and I wish they would have put in the train scene, but the story itself and the music and all of it put together is perfect.
Day 19- What is your overall favorite moment in the series? So hard to pick one moment! Of course I love ep 19 and Roy burning the fuck out of Lust, and then later on when he goes crazy and burns the shit out of Envy. But I also like when Ed clocks Hoho in the jaw, every time that Ling pops in a window is a great scene, that scene with Olivier and Roy and the flowers, when Winry realizes on the train that she's in love with Ed, when Maes is telling Winry about how men communicate, when Ed tells Izumi that she didn't kill her baby a second time and the relief in her voice when she thanks him for telling her that... so many moments!
Day 20- Your favorite anime OP/end? Period is my favorite opener, Let it Out is my favorite ending.
Day 21- Do you think Maes Hughes is an adorable and loving father or just creepy? Adorable and loving. He's quite a bit over the top, but he's not creepy.
Day 22- Your opinion on the anime: raw or dubbed? Dubbed. I don't speak Japanese and Travis Willingham and Troy Baker's voices are too fucking good not hear.
Day 23- Do you have a favorite Elric brother? Why or why not? I think I like them equally. They are each unique and wonderful and it's hard to pick between them who my favorite is. I admit I'm more interested in what Al does in Xing than what Ed does... wherever it is he goes.
Day 24- Do you have any opinions of the OST? What are they? It's beautiful, and I have several favorite tracks, Requiem for a Soldier being one of them.
Day 25- Roy Mustang: What do you think? XD I think deep under the sarcasm there's a decent man in there, a man who's been trapped by the regulations of the military.
Day 26- Has the series impacted your life in any way? How? I find myself living by the law of equivalent exchange. People sometimes don't understand and I don't feel like explaining it, but it just makes sense to live that way.
Day 27- What attracted you to the series overall? It was different from any anime I had ever seen at that point. The names were in english, the places were easy to pronounce and remember, the culture was German based... I was definitely intrigued.
Day 28- You know someone is an FMA fan when: They draw transmutation circles on their back patio in sidewalk chalk XD (I did!)
Day 29- What did you think of the series' end? 1st series: GARBAGE ::RAGEFACE.PNG:: Brotherhood: Not the closure I wanted, but it was easier to swallow than the first series ending.
Day 30- What do you think happens to the characters after the series ended for good? Al and Mei totally hook up, and the reason Mei is hiding behind Ed in the last picture is because she's hugely pregnant with twins and she's self conscious of her baby belly! Roy and Riza finally get to the Führer's throne, begin to get democracy instated, and then finally she retires and they have glorious royai sex for days. Rebecca, the dirty money grubbing whore she is, is taken in by Madame Christmas after a conversation that goes something like, 'Why settle for one man's money when could have every man's money?' and she puts her in the stable of girls who work for her. Ling takes 50 wives and for some reason the only pregnant woman in the palace is Lan Fan, yet no one has ever seen her with a man...
