Apr. 4th, 2014 08:38 pmI've got a new hobby- aqua zumba/aqua aerobics. VERY addictive. I like the zumba class better, but the aerobics class has better stretches afterward, so they're about even I'd say. I've already lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks and about 2 inches! That's super awesome because when work was being a bitch and not working me, I'd put on nearly 20 pounds. I'd gotten down to 306 just before Christmas and then ballooned back up to 323. Ugg. It's always going to be an uphill battle I suppose.
Aaaand speaking of work, I've been working 5 days a week, which is unusual in and of itself. Part timers never get that many days in a row, let alone shifts that last for more than 4 hours. I've had 5, 5 hr days this week. I'm not complaining. I will have 4 five hour days next week. The money's nice to have, even though I don't make enough to do anything with. When the grass starts growing and when our vegetables start coming in, we'll be doing a little better with our yard work and farmer's market ventures. For the moment we're still scraping by, but at least we're alive and in a house that will never be foreclosed on.
On Thursday I drove to Cincinnati in pouring rain so that Joey could spend the rest of his spring break with his godmother. The whole trip was annoying. I called her when I left around noon, she calls me around 2 just as we were getting ready to get on I-75 saying she wasn't even home but at her brother's about 20 minutes further than her house and could I come get her. Fine. So I go up there and get lost and had to turn around, but finally we made it. I give her the keys so she could drive us to her house but instead we go to a thrift store. I had told her I didn't want to be out too late because I wanted to get on the road before it got dark because my windshield is stupid and I can't see when it's dark AND raining. So after an hour at the thrift store (which was worth it because I got Joey a drum set for $5!), she then takes me to another store. It's now about 6. I really need to get going. But I found a bathing suit for under $20, brand new, Lane Bryant bottoms and St. John's Bay top. And a new top for $6. And I really miss hanging out with her and I love her and her kids and all, but I really can't see at night when it's raining. So we finally get to her house and hang out for a bit, mostly to make sure Joey's not gonna freak out when I leave. By the time I leave it's 8. It's not raining and it's a little daylight left. By the time I got off I-75 to I-71 to Louisville, it was POURING. I got behind a truck that had a string of brakelights across his tail end because that's literally all I could see. I could judge the lane by his width and I followed him for miles until the rain finally stopped. Then I zoomed out from behind him and did nearly 90 mph all the way home trying to get as far as I could before the rain started again. Luckily it was dry the rest of the way home. I nearly had a panic attack though until the damn rain quit. And the Imperial Cruiser turned 200,000 miles right around Campbellsburg.
I have to work every day that Joey is gone. no vacay for me. I've been watching Attack on Titan (shouldn't it translate as 'Titan Attack'?). I LOVE it. I don't like Levi. I think what he did to Eren was crap. I'm also trying to watch Black Butler season 2. and now I have visitors so I gotta go XD

Date: April 5th, 2014 04:58 am (UTC)I can't get into Attack on Titan. I'll have to try again when life isn't insane.
I love water aerobics. I can't do our aqua-zumba because they will not put up sections with NO students. I'm sorry but students and professors shouldn't be in swim suits together let alone naked in the same change room.

Date: April 6th, 2014 09:54 pm (UTC)It just occurred to me that you're really not that far away from me. I love road tripping; we should plan a meet-up one day.

Date: April 7th, 2014 03:52 am (UTC)As for Levi, I've seen him shipped with so many people- male and female. Kinda like the fandom bicycle XD

Date: April 7th, 2014 04:52 am (UTC)I've been wanting to do a non-convention fan meet-up for ages and am always looking for places it could happen. Maybe we could get a whole bunch of fangirls together and have a grand old time. :D
One of my AoT fantasies is where Levi is taking it from everyone, male and female, repeatedly. *happy sigh*

Date: April 7th, 2014 01:39 pm (UTC)And maybe Levi is the way he is simply because he doesn't get enough attention to his boy parts. More sexing is good for him I think XD
