Ready to play?  This is going to be fun!!

1. His passion led him around the world and back.  Her apathy left her feeling bored and listless.  She loved him despite his scar and he loved her despite her lack of desire for anything other than him, and together they found balance and happiness.

2. She was a blue collar girl, not looking for anything other than a well deserved cup of pudding at the end of the day.  He was a priest who was really a mercenary for hire.  They found comfort in each other over the death of a child, but their love was short lived.

3. She believed in a false prophet and asked the impossible of him.  He believed in a true God and acted in direct violation of his people's holy laws.  Together they found forgiveness and understanding.

4. When his cursed hand first rubbed her bottom, it was out of habit.  But when he asked her to live with him, that was a first and only request.

5. He wasn't looking for anything but a good time when he walked into her bar that night.  But as he kept coming back, he discovered a real treasure under her many layers, and she discovered she that sometimes wisdom could be found in those younger than her.

6. She would give her life to protect him, but he would give up his kingdom just to be with her.  While he knows she would die for him, he knows she has no idea the depth of his affection for her.

Sure, he tells his coworkers that his wife beats him down all the time over everything, and she's quick to let everyone know she wears the pants in the relationship, but at the end of the day they're glad to have each other.  He keeps the bills paid and she keeps the house from being a wreck (mostly) and she also gives his goat a stable to rest in on Wednesday nights (MEGA POINTS IF YOU GET THAT!!)

8. He's known her since he was a kid; been mystified by her for years but only recently discovered how much he'd fallen for her.  She's not even a normal human being, but his heart belongs to her.  Now if she could only find where her head was, she could kiss him.

9. She's a tiny girl, perpetually happy and the only bright spot in his life. Despite her size, she plays a huge role in his life, and he can't wait to show her when she matures just how much he cares for her.

10. Horses of courses, that's how they met.  Her need to be free transformed him inside, and he fought hard to give her that gift.  But when she burned for it, he burned inside for eternity.

11. He was a soul that had been housed inside an unnatural body, his was a body that had been home to an unnatural soul.  They became home to each other long after it was all over.

12. She knew she had a brother, but she didn't know it was this guy...  And he knew he had a sister but he didn't know it was this girl.  They knew they shouldn't do it... but they did it anyway, and they never looked back.  It was something in the wind...

13. He's killed hundreds and spilled enough blood on himself to drown an entire village.  But when she gives him a chance, looks past his horrific nickname and sees his troubled heart, she smiles and gives him a place to stay.  Turns out he never leaves.

14. Her husband sold her into prostitution to cover his gambling debt.  He met her on the street the night before she joined the brothel, looking forlorn and ready to jump into the river.  He saved her from her misery, though he kept a little of it for himself after she was gone.

15. Her blood is poison, in every sense of the word, but he tells her it was a blessing when she shared it with him.  He is living his dream with her, and she's truly happy when she's with him.

16. She met him when he was a boy, then fell in love with the idealistic teenager he became.  They lived in violation of his sacred order's law and kept their affair secret, but when his mind became poisoned she needed the help of his master.  He wasn't happy that she shared their secret, and he did all he could to silence the both of them forever.

17.  He didn't know his father was a king and she didn't know that a blacksmith's apprentice could forge her vengeful heart out of stone again.

18. She thought her relationship between her son and the girl he favored was unusual and strange, until she discovered the same kind of feelings for a boy she'd only met once previously.  The young man had died yet lived again, and he was deadly in his profession- a hunter of her kind.  Yet he came to bed with her every night and never hurt her once.

19. She was to be a legend, and she knew it from the start.  It made her cocky and gave her an air of arrogance.  He was a bit of a goofball, but it hid a tragic past and deep pain and sadness.  After she accidentally hurt his feelings, they reconcile and their new friendship leads to something more.

20. He was a bit of a child mentally.  He would sooner surrender than fight for anything, would rather eat and drink and sleep over train and plan and conquer.  The other was the exact opposite: he was discipline incarnate, found satisfaction over military campaigns and felt all time and energy should be spent furthering those goals.  But he found something endearing in the other man, and eventually he learned to like an occasional break.




Wow, that was really hard!  Start making guesses, some are not canon obviously, but I'd love to see who gets what right!
