new job and 2 stupid dogs

The management position at the other clothing store has done nothing but give me the runaround since my interview. So I was in Joann's crafts picking up supplies for my custom earrings (for sale! Made to order! $7 a pair w/free shipping! Message me!) And I saw some applications so I picked one up. I filled it out at the service desk and got an interview on (this past) Monday. The interview went great. I'll be making $.25 less but I'll be doubling my hours. This means daycare for Joey, more money, and more stable than we've been in a while financially. I'm going to keep the other job 1 day a week (discount, yo!) And when hours get short at Joann's then I'll pick them up at. Lane Bryant.

These 2 rugrat dogs are walking on thin ice. I woke up this morning and discovered they got on the kitchen table and pilfered a bag of potato chips. I've seen Ellie on the table before, but I know how Edo/Fred is aboutfood. He's also been getting into the garbage like a fiend. When I woke up from my nap I found they got into my waraji supplies and had rope and jute strung all over the damn house. I think that was Edo. He's destructive when he's bored, and evidently hunting down something that was buried on the table and then unwinding it mustve been a grand old time. I put them both in the crate twice today. Poor Koga and Brüno were big babies all day because of the thunder. I think Brüno gave himself a back cramp from being so worked up over the noise.

I'm watching Avatar: the Last Airbender with Joey. He likes Oppa and I like that we can watch it together and it's appropriate (sorta) for him, because as much as we both love it, he shouldn't be watching Shin Chan lol.

Congrats on the second job! :D

Avatar is a fun show. Yeah there are a couple elements that might be suitable for Joey when he's slightly older, but for the most part it's appropriate for him.

yeah, most of it is over his head, but it's bright and colorful and he LOVES the music.

While I'm still here, this is probably too early to ask but how far are you on my FMA Big Bang? Totally understandable if you haven't read much yet since my fic is long and I know you're busy.

I did start the first chapter, but then I got 50 kinds of distracted and will have to start over. I'm trying to tour different day cares so I get Joey settled into one soon. Don't worry I will comment after every chapter!

Yeah, gotta admit I have a serious fondness for Avatar too. It isn't the level of some of the other anime, but it's probably one of the best the US has put out.

D'oh! And that's great news about the job. I couldn't work at Joanne's - I have almost been crowded out of my office by my stack of fabric already... I can't even imagine what I'd come home with if I actually worked at a fabric place!

what's going to help me at Joann's is the only thing I can see myself getting tied up in is the jewelry making stuff, so I don't think I'll be spending my paycheck there like I do at Lane Bryant. And their stuff is so much more expensive than Hobby Lobby. Still, a job's a job and I'm not bitching (unless they don't give me verification of employment so I can get day care settled).

I just saw the episode where they go to the fortune teller and the ship is officially canon. I was internal squeeeeeing XD
