Oh my achin' back!!
Apr. 27th, 2013 11:07 pmSo apparently I've hurt myself at work? Though I can't pinpoint the exact moment or action that caused my lower back to feel like it was tenderized by several baseball bats, I know it's because we've been packing and moving things at work so we can move to our new location (which is super pretty and nice and new and omg I can't wait to get over there!!) Anyway, between that and what I suspect may be the beginnings of a wicked yeast infection, I'm feeling SIMPLY wonderful- not... I'm not inspired to write, I feel like I'm panicking constantly about some unknown thing- I wish I knew what triggers my episodes. I know it's from stress, but what is it that's stressing me? Sometimes I wish I didn't have Joey or was married because I think I'd worry a lot less if that were the case (not that I don't love Joey to pieces, it would just be easier to go to work without having to make sure he's cared for).
My sister got evicted from yet another apartment, and her useless boyfriend/baby daddy is up to the usual- starting fights with her, kidnapping their son and stealing her car, then coming back later that night when he needs a place to sleep. She thinks he's doing crack- my mom was married to guy who hooked on crack and useless boyfriend is exhibiting those same crazy ass antics. Mom is worrying about her to the point she's lost over 30 pounds over the past crazy year. I think mom has panic disorder too, but her attacks manifest in spontaneous vomiting and diarrhea where mine manifest as heart attack like symptoms. At any rate, I don't know if it's a combination of moving at work, or that I'm out of food stamps and this was my puny paycheck, or that I have 2 credit cards hounding me on top of the student loans assholes, or what's going on. I just wish I felt better, that much is certain.
The old store closing is a great thing though, because I'll probably get a table I can use as a kitchen table out of the fixtures, as well as a rug and a bench for the end of my bed, a coffee table and a step stool... You'd be surprised what you can use from a clothing store! I'm hoping the district manager will let me just have them, but if I have to pay for them I hope she gives me a deal.
Got my hakema halfway put together. The legs are all sewn up and together, the side vents are in, now to pleat the front, make the back piece and sash. Then hem them up and dye 'em red for my shrine priestess cosplay for the big con in September. Might have to take the legs in a little at the sides, because the vents go down to my knees and I don't know if I want to wear my kimono that long or not. I guess it depends on what it looks like when I get the kimono on. I'm excited to get them finished and on me! I've made 3 pair now but never one for myself!
dead tired. might go to bed early.
