Happy early Mother's Day to me!! (pics)

All I asked for was a lucky bamboo plant.  I had wanted one for a really long time and now they've gotten pretty cheap ($1.99 for a small one at walgreens).  Naturally I dropped the hint on facebook because my husband is not good about checking any kind of other messages (and I figured if he didn't remember my mom might).  It came today!  He ordered it online from an asian plant dealer.  The plant did not come potted as I expected, it came like when you order flowers and they come in a box rather than a vase.  I had to pot it myself (which was fun!) and it has a little butterfly made of feathers on it.  The card was ADORABLE!!!  I sat it between my hagoita in the bedroom.



Then tonight, I had to go to a meeting at work because the new store has the 'soft opening' tomorrow (the grand opening is this weekend).  So our district manager gives us all these coupons and tells us we need to wear something new this weekend (which is hard for me because I have to work 2 out of 3 of those days and we're flat fucking broke constantly.  So I bought as cheaply as I could- 4 things at 60% off each, and then $6 in fashion cash so my total came to about $45.  I got a mini skort, a tank top with a lace sugar skull on it and a matching necklace and earrings.


I have a white shrug that I can wear with this and I think I'll wear it on Friday.  Saturday I have a maxi dress that I haven't ever worn and a ton of cute accessories I can dress it up with.  Anyway, it was a great day.

As far as writing goes, all that wants to be written is a really hot Braeda/Chris sex scene.  It's all I see right before I go to sleep- a super passionate kiss that leads to more.  I started a family in Sims 2 where they share a house with Havoc and Sciezka.  Aparently you can only have 1 married couple in a house at start up at a time.  So Braeda's advances are being completely dismissed (OMGROFLMAO) and Havoc marched Sciezka right up the steps and got to work knocking her up.  Oh, and here's this golden gem-

I've wanted for so long, I'm really happy to have it! And I like that shirt too. We had a gray one back during winter that had shirt sleeves, but I like this one better.

When I still had Sims 3 on my machine (Long story, limping along an old laptop and I couldn't run the software I NEED for Anatomy... )

I totally had a Sciuto/DiNozzo house (On the SWAMP/Bayou lot!) And of course the Havoc and Sciezka house. (So much canoodling.)


LOVE that Havoc just up and jumps Sciezka's bones. (At least they weren't in the front yard. ;)

I set Havoc's lifetime goal thingy at romance, so he wants to boink everything! No lie, they went upstairs and did it once, then the wants reset and it said he wanted to do it again, so I had her start it and try for a baby, and they did and the rock a bye baby bit played and now we wait!

somehow I killed my bamboo...yeah I have no idea how. I can grow delicate plants that take super amounts of work and kill something that should be able to grow anywhere

I was reading the instructions to this one and it said not too much water and not too much sunlight. Just cover the roots and keep it out of direct sun. We'll see what happens. It came with plant food called Green Green, that had a label written in chinese and korean o___O

hahaha in all seriousness bamboo is easy to grow almost anywhere (it can become an invasive exotic if planted outside). you should be fine.

I have the same issue with baked goods. I can make something complicated like baklava but can't make a sugar cookie
