Along time ago, I used to be a huge pothead.  I don't remember ever buying it, I think I just happened to be in the right place with the right people at the right time.  Maybe bought it once?  Hell, why you askin me anyways, it's probably why I have a short term memory problem.  Anyhow, I mentioned on my facebook page that I'd like to get good and high once and sit down and write, just to see what happens.  I had said it as a joke, but my sister who is CURRENTLY a huge pothead, said if I ever wanted to take the plunge on that idea to give her a call and she'd hook me up...

I'm thinking about doing it.  If I do, I want to wait until it's cooler outside and when there's not so many mosquitos.  I wanna sit outside, toke, and just start typing.  I wonder what would happen...  XD I wonder what would happen ifseatbeltdrivein joined me!  Oh, maybe I could take my graphics pad out too and draw something instead.  I think I'd get frustrated though because while I can manipulate like hell with the pad, I draw infinitely better on paper.

So, what do you guys think?  Do you think that doing this will end up with me having the worst case of munchies I ever had and nothing will get done?  Or do you think I will want to do it all the time again?  Or that the experiment will be a success and I can leave it at that?

I never done pot nor drink alcohol (the latter for non-mental medical reasons), so I don't know how it's like to write while high or drunk. I'm totally fine if you want to try it out once and see what happens (I'm...kinda curious how that'll go? XD), but it depends if you know you'll be able to not make yourself do it all over again.

I'm thinking a more accurate scenario will be that I turn on the Pink Floyd 'Pulse' concert and get lost in that for a few hours, but will get some GREAT IDEAS for fics that I'll prolly never finish. I don't know how much actual writing I'll get done. I think when I get back from my vacation I just might try it. I'm so burned out of ideas right now, which is why I haven't started that Roy/Ed thing that I'm supposed to write for that comm, or the request fic I was commissioned with.

I've never had a drug for a muse before, I wonder what it would be like.

Really? Two years of fandom and already so out of ideas that you need to get high for plot ideas?

C'mon, surely there's some other way to get creative?

I'm not out of ideas or anything, I just wonder if what people say about pot's ability to stimulate your creativity is true.

LOL! You are just a nut! But, probably not such a great idea to advertise you're going to do drugs. ROFL!

I think once you get back from vacation you'll be overflowing with ideas! You just need to relax and enjoy yourself thats all. Who's all going on vacation besides you and me? XD
