Welp, it's finally happened.

I've been watching anime for a while now, and I've always been quick to find favorite male characters to obsess and fantasize about.  Being bisexual, I was surprised that I hadn't found a female character that I crushed on, but the wait is finally over.


Revy from Black Lagoon has stolen my heart.  She smokes.  She swears like a sailor. She drinks like a fish.  She fucking shoots guns and shit like a goddess.  She's got a sweet tattoo.  She hangs out with a CIA agent who's posing as a nun and she's just as bad ass as Revy is.  Okay, so actually just about every female character in Black Lagoon is right up my fucking alley.  Balalaika is freaking so awesome in that Olivier Armstrong way, the Chinese assassin Revy calls 'Chinglish' is awesome too, and Sister Eda (the CIA nun) practically NEEEEDS her own spinoff crossover with Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun.  I need to read the manga because the series was way too short for my liking.  And the implied ship never sailed, and there's no decent fan fic either (frowns loudly).

I'd say she's part Jean Havoc, part Desert Punk, part Sanosuke Sagara...  She's just a bad ass- I think I'm in love (again).

I have one friend who recommended me Black Lagoon and is a big fan of Revy too. Probably I'll check the anime out then after a few shows I'm watching are finished for the season.

It was so good- the lawlessness of Roanapur, Thailand and the different mafia families involved, it was a little bit of Cowboy Bebop and a little bit of Trigun... Such a good series with really good characters. I think you'd enjoy it!
